MY IPSY NOVEMBER GLAM BAG

My ipsy November glam bag review is here!

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base in Submissive

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base

While I really love the bronze/gold pigment of this eye base, I feel it lacks for pigment once on the eye. This could be on account of my skin tone, though. It does, however, last the majority of the day so in terms of staying power I’d say it’s pretty fair. Also, like most eye bases/cream shadows a little goes a long way and application is made super easy with your finger. The nice thing about this shimmery shade is that it’s okay to rub everywhere without it looking like a ‘mess’.

Cake Beauty Be Delectable Coconut & Cream Hand Cream

Cake Beauty Be Delectable hand cream

So often hand creams are ultra-greasy – this one, however, was not! It’s fast-absorbing and I absolutely love the fragrance (it smells almost good enough to eat!). The 2 oz tube is the perfect travel-size – I simply toss it in my purse and I’m good to go wherever, whenever. Definitely a recommend.

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in Ultra Orchid

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil

Ipsy’s November glam bag was all about glitter and this eye pencil really delivered! I simply applied it to my waterline but of course the possibilities are boundless. Purple is so pretty, isn’t it? It comes in four different colours as well. It glides on easily, lasts all day and it’s ultra pigmented – perfect for this glitzy time of year.

GlamGlow Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment

GlamGlow Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment

After a few minutes of wear this cleanser dries into a mask. In terms of application it glides on well, though I recommend putting on a relatively thick layer or two in order to see an effect. I did attempt to take photos of the product on my face but (unfortunately) it didn’t photograph all to well. The exfoliating beads really make it a better exfoliant than a cleanser, I’d say – or wait, it’s a ‘dualcleanser’, perhaps that means its both a cleanser and exfoliant.

J. Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint in Mad Splatter

J. Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint

I really wanted to love this lippie! The colour is just beautiful – the pink prismatic shade is ultra pigmented and simply stunning once applied. But that’s just it – application is a serious pain. It’s too watery. I wish it were slightly thicker. Perhaps it was the method I was using to apply it (I simply used the applicator in place of a brush) but I found it got messy. I almost feel like I need to mix it with something else to thicken it up because like I said, I really want to love it.

What did you get in your ipsy glam bag this month?
