SPORTY CHIC

It’s December and I want nothing more than to lounge around in somethin’ sporty chic, all day errday. As temperatures have been above zero (for realz guys!) I’m not quite ready for heavy knits and other such wintry garments, so I’ve gladly taken to sneakers, tracks (ok ok, on the rare occasion I do wear sweats in public when styled accordingly) and chambray (always chambray, always).

I often feature looks that I wear whilst at the office or out in about in the city, but – just like you – I’ve got a go-to lazy day OOTD when I just don’t feel like it (it being anything involving moderate to maximum effort to get ready).

But let’s talk shop, people. Is this pug tank L-I-F-E or what? Seriously, anytime an animal of sorts is featured on clothing, I fall prey to such ~adorbs~ cuteness (in which case the use of J’adore on this tank is totally fitting, wouldn’t you say?) There’s little better than a basic white tee, but when searching to adds some pug-zzazz to a sporty chic getup, opting for a graphic tank or tee is an easy way to do so.

And, like me, if you’re not quite ready for heavy knits, pairing said shirt with a button-down chambray – or a button-down anything, really – is all it takes.

Insofar as jewellery goes, I opted for this cork, gold-flecked bracelet from Hazel Black. It’s best to keep it simple with accessories when creating a look that’s sporty chic, lest it become a look that’s not so sporty chic (lolz).

To pull it all together, slap on a pair of track pants and sneakers and you, my friend, have got yourself an outfit that’s certifiably comfy AF (without sacrificing too much in the way of style).
